Quality Assurance Consultant

Opportunity to join our Fire Risk Management team as a Quality Assurance Consultant. This role offers the chance to be part of a successful, engaging Fire Safety team in an influential position.

You will support our Fire Risk Management business nationally, working within the Fire Division to enhance our quality management and project delivery.

The role is ideal for those transitioning from operational assessing to an assurance role, primarily home-based with occasional office visits. Travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or training, possibly involving overnight stays.

We are interested in candidates with experience in fire safety within the built environment, including construction inspections of fire compartmentation, passive fire protection, or external wall remediation.

What you will need to succeed:

Fire Safety Delivery

• Passion for fire risk management with a focus on safety and end-user experience.
• Experience in delivering fire risk management consultancy in the UK across various sectors.
• Professional qualification in fire risk assessment.
• Knowledge of guidance documents and performance-based design measures.
• Commitment to professional development and industry awareness.
• Membership of recognized fire safety accreditation schemes (e.g., Institution of Fire Engineers).

Project Management

• Strong organizational skills and time management.

Management

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail in reviewing assessments and reports.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Experience with app-based technology.
