Job summary

Purosearch is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing fire safety consultancy covering the North West. You will assess a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, educational, healthcare and public sector properties and deliver practical, proportionate remediation recommendations.

The role requires FE-related qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, strong report-writing skills, and willingness to travel across the North West.

Qualifications

• Previous experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
• Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, FPA, IFSM, IFE, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and relevant guidance.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the North West.
• Membership of a recognised professional body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across a variety of property types.
• Produce detailed, high-quality reports with practical and proportionate recommendations.
• Identify fire safety risks and advise clients on remedial actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation, standards, and guidance.
