This role offers an exciting opportunity within Housing Services and Building Safety Compliance. You will be responsible for conducting type 1 and type 3 fire risk assessments on residential properties, managing contractors, and ensuring fire safety standards compliance. You will also contribute to developing processes and procedures related to fire risk management and will receive ongoing professional development. The team includes fire risk assessors, fire safety surveyors, and compliance support officers.
You will join a dedicated team working to ensure fire safety and risk management across the organization, reporting to the Fire and Asbestos Manager. The team collaborates closely with other safety professionals to minimize fire hazards and promote safety.
Applicants should have experience in fire risk assessments for residential properties, membership of professional bodies such as IFE, IFSM, or CABE, and thorough knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, Approved Document B, and British Standards. A good understanding of construction methods and fire safety measures is essential.
