Niyaa People are working with a local social housing charity in Birmingham who are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to join their team on a temporary basis.

Benefits of the Fire Risk Assessor role:

Responsibilities of the Fire Risk Assessor role include:
  • Conducting and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments across residential properties
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports of all assessments and inspections conducted
  • Providing any advice and guidance to the internal team and staff in regards to fire safety
  • Overseeing fire safety compliance including audits, post fire inspections and evacuation strategies

  • Key skills needed for the Fire Risk Assessor role are;
  • Experience working within residential properties and communicating with tenants
  • Level 4 fire risk assessment qualification
  • Strong knowledge of conducting and auditing Fire Risk Assessments
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Understanding and writing reports of any assessments completed
