Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Site Manager (Fire Protection) for Europe, based in the UK. You will deliver projects focusing on commercial, schedule, quality and safety, reporting to senior management and coordinating with your team to meet client expectations.

You will oversee staffing, resource contracts, and adherence to group policies while driving site safety and QA checks, with regular site visits to maintain strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Capable in planning and budgeting for projects.
• Knowledge of Site Management processes (Finance, HR, Procurement, Design, Site ops).
• Excellent communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Proven problem-solving aptitude on site.
• 4+ years in Fire Protection Design & build or similar mechanical roles.
• Relevant NFQ Level 8 qualifications in Project & Construction Programme Management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Commercial, Schedule, Quality and Safety targets for projects.
• Manage all elements including margin management and senior reporting.
• Oversee project staff and operations; ensure adequate resourcing with trained operatives and quality suppliers.
• Implement group policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
• Report project performance to General Manager and MD.
• Maintain strong customer relations with site visits and progress updates.
• Support implementation of company improvement projects on site.
