Bid Manager / Proposal Manager or Director level Opportunity

Our client is growing, and we're looking for a proactive Bid Manager / Proposal Manager or Director to lead their tendering, proposal, and bid management processes to help drive growth.

If you have experience in Fire Protection, Fire Alarms, Fire Suppression, Fire Safety, or related M&E, apply and tell us about your experience in tendering, bid management, and proposal success!

Responsibilities:
  • Manage bids and proposals to secure high-value work, working alongside the Sales Director within the UK fire industry.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with M&E contractors and potential clients.
  • Provide accurate quotations and budgets to generate winning tenders.
  • Oversee technical proposals, tender documents, and cost submissions.
  • Mentor sales team members.
  • Ensure smooth handovers from sales to project delivery teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, or Bids/Tenders Director.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire systems, including Fire Alarms, Fire Suppression, Fire Protection, or M&E systems involving Fire and Security or Life Safety.
  • Ability to commute to Berkshire.
