Venatu Recruitment is proud to announce that a leading client is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Service Technician to join their team as soon as possible. The company specializes in providing industry-leading advice, training, and technical expertise in fire safety, with over 20 years of experience working with fire safety regulations. They are recognized as industry leaders, particularly in Data Centre Fire Suppression, and pride themselves on their excellent track record.

This is a permanent position offering GBP26,000 - GBP29,000 annually, plus a company van and two different monthly bonuses.

Job Duties include:

• Ensuring all work meets customer and company standards (BS5306 Pt 3:2017 & ISO 9001:2015)
• Achieving performance targets
• Maintaining fire extinguishers, hose reels, and other equipment on service contracts
• Safely delivering equipment to customers within agreed timescales
• Promoting all of Fire-rite's services to new and existing customers
• Updating Operations and Systems Managers on progress or delays
• Servicing works according to monthly schedules and attending call-outs on a rota system
• Conducting surveys and providing quotations
• Installing new systems and servicing existing ones
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
• Adhering to quality procedures
• Participating in on-call duties on a rota system
• Planning and organizing customer visits

Candidate requirements:

• Providing efficient service in sales and servicing of fire safety equipment
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Contributing to company development and success
• Acting safely in accordance with health and safety regulations

Highly desirable skills and experience:

• Relevant project experience or engineering qualifications
• Knowledge of fire safety systems, building regulations, and industry best practices
• Data Centre experience
