Job summary

phs Compliance is seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Engineer to operate in Wakefield and surrounding areas. You will service and maintain fire extinguishers at diverse customer sites, ensuring compliance and safety standards for phs Group clients.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving license, have 2 years of industry experience, and understand health and safety regulations; IT literacy and familiarity with test/inspection software are important.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (subject to insurance requirements) with a maximum of 6 points.
• 2 years previous industry experience would be advantageous.
• An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
• A good level of IT literacy.
• Knowledge of Test and Inspection Procedures and software.
• Desirable but not essential BAFE, FETA, IFEDA.

Responsibilities

• Visiting multiple commercial properties, for example banks, schools, universities, retail outlets, leisure centres, hospitals and pubs to complete servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers and ensure compliance for our customers
