Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Engineer based in Stoke-on-Trent to service, maintain and install portable extinguishers across commercial and domestic sites. You will plan routes, schedule visits, and communicate with customers to confirm service visits.

The role offers a £32,500 basic salary with OTE of £38,000+, a company van and fuel card, pension, 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, PDA, uniform and tools, and a £1,500 joining bonus for fully trained engineers holding

Qualifications

BAFE Certification is essential.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Proven background as a Fire Extinguisher Technician or Engineer.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across commercial and residential sites.
Manage daily service schedule, planning routes and appointments efficiently.
Communicate with customers to arrange and confirm service visits.

Key Responsibilities – Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across commercial and residential sites
Manage your own daily service schedule, planning routes and appointments efficiently
Communicate directly with customers to arrange and confirm service visits
Record completed work accurately via PDA-based service reports
Work independently in the field, representing the company professionally at all times
Ensure all work meets current fire safety legislation and health & safety standards

Skills and experience – Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Current BAFE Certification – essential
Full UK driving licence – essential
Proven background as a Fire Extinguisher Technician or Engineer
Confident working in customer-facing situations
Able to manage your own workload and work independently
