Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Site / Project Manager with a background in fire doors to lead projects across London and the South East. This hands-on role requires overseeing delivery, quality, labour, materials and client relationships from mobilisation to completion.

You'll manage fire door installations, surveys and compliance while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to keep programmes on track. Opportunities exist in permanent or freelance capacities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fire door or passive fire protection projects.
• Strong understanding of fire door standards and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing fire door installation, inspection and remedial projects.
• Taking ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Overseeing day-to-day site operations and resolving issues proactively.
• Managing programmes and ensuring projects stay on track.
• Coordinating labour, materials, procurement and internal teams.
• Managing and supporting site operatives to maintain high standards.
• Carrying out fire door surveys, measurements and condition reports.
• Providing technical input and identifying compliant, cost-effective solutions.
• Conducting site audits, quality checks and compliance inspections.
• Reporting project progress, risks, delays and commercial issues to senior management.
• Ensuring all works comply with RAMS, CDM requirements and manufacturer specifications.
