Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Fire Door Project Manager to lead fire door installation projects from our Nottingham base with nationwide travel to sites across the UK.

You will oversee delivery across social housing, hotels, healthcare and commercial premises, coordinating Labour, materials and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality standards.

This permanent role offers up to £55,000 salary, Company van, pension and a clear path for progression in a growing fire protection business.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager, Supervisor or similar operational role.
• Background in fire doors, joinery or passive fire protection.
• Previous experience in a Project Management role.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Strong understanding of passive fire compliance and installation standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.

Fire Door Project Manager

Salary:Up to £55,000 per annum

The role will involve a combination of office-based work at the Nottingham office and regular travel to sites across the UK.

We are lookingfor an experienced Site Project Manager to support the delivery of fire door and passive fire protection contracts across a diverse portfolio of projects.

The successful Fire Door Project Managerwill work across multiple live contracts, supporting delivery teams and acting as the key link between Site Supervisors and senior operational management. This position offers a varied workload across social housing, hotels, healthcare facilities, commercial premises and other occupied environments with nationwide travel.

As a Fire Door Project Manager, you will oversee installation activities, monitor programme delivery, maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements. You will play a vital role in coordinating labour, materials, subcontractors and client communication across several locations.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor or similar operational role.
• Background in fire doors, joinery, passive fire protection or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Project Management role
• SMSTS qualification.
• Strong understanding of passive fire compliance and installation standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• FIRAS, BM TRADA or equivalent industry knowledge.
• Experience working within healthcare, residential or hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and compliance documentation.
