Job Description:

Overview: The Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer will conduct fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to high standards, adhering to the BM Trada Q Mark scheme across various client properties in the region. The role emphasizes delivering a world-class building services maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs, and installation works via helpdesk within designated timeframes to exceed customer expectations.
  • Assist with carpentry/joinery works as instructed.
  • Ensure Fire Doors meet specified performance criteria.
  • Provide professional service and represent the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively liaise with clients, addressing concerns or escalating to management as needed.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry, woodworking, or related trade qualification, or
  • Time-served carpentry and joinery experience (preferably with a recognised craft apprenticeship).
  • IT literacy.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Significant experience in PPM building services maintenance.
