PPM Recruitment is currently seeking Fire Door Joiners around Knowsley

Responsibilities for this FRA Joiner role include:

1. Repair, renew, or fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips, and valleys, as well as repair or replace soffits, fascias, and barge boards.
2. Repair or renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, stud work, and partition walls.
3. Install T&G or sheet flooring.
4. Repair or renew doors and door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting paneling.
5. Repair or renew kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
6. Repair, replace, or fit ironmongery to doors and windows.
7. Repair or renew timber and UPVC window frames.
8. Deglaze or reglaze timber fencing and gates.
9. Maintain and replenish vehicle impress stock.

What we are looking for in our ideal FRA Joiner:

• Must have completed a recognized apprenticeship and hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification.
• Experience as a joiner, preferably within a social housing environment.
• Competent in all aspects of joinery trade discipline, with experience in maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including high-rise blocks.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Current driving license is essential.
• Skilled workers should hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and possess their own tools.
