Job summary

PTSG Fire Safety Solutions in Glasgow, United Kingdom is seeking skilled Joiners for fire door installation, repair and remedial work across a range of customer sites such as hospitals, schools and residential buildings.

You will install, repair and maintain fire doors, identify defects and perform remedial work, and ensure work aligns with fire-safety regulations and third‑party certification. A full UK driving licence and DBS check are required; travel on national sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in joinery or carpentry and experience with fire doors.
• Involvement in fire-door installation, repair or maintenance is required.
• Good knowledge of fire-door regulations and safety standards is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain fire doors and doorsets on customer sites.
• Identify defects and perform appropriate remedial work.
• Replace seals, hinges and ironmongery as needed.
• Remove and install complete doorsets when required.
• Work in line with fire-safety regulations and third-party certification.
• Record work and materials digitally and accurately.
