Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer to join a BM TRADA accredited fire door and security company. This field-based role covers London sites, with Portsmouth-based employment.

You will install, remediate, and maintain fire doors, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and industry best practices. Ideal candidates will have proven installation and remedial experience, an Enhanced DBS, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and repairing fire doors.
• Experience carrying out fire door remedial works.
• Enhanced DBS
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong knowledge of fire door compliance and installation standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire door remedial works, maintenance and repairs to industry standards.
• Install complete fire-rated doorsets and door leaves.
• Ensure all works comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.
• Liaise with management regarding daily work schedules and project updates.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers and colleagues, delivering high standards of customer service.
• Be flexible with travel throughout London and surrounding areas to various client locations.
• Maintain accurate job records, including installation and maintenance documentation, and submit all required paperwork promptly.
• Represent the company professionally whilst on-site.
• Collect materials from the company’s SW17 base when required.
