Job summary

Regional Recruitment are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer for live school and college projects across Greater London. You will install, maintain and remediate fire doors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. Immediate start on a long-term contract with a supportive project team.

Essential qualifications include CSCS card, DBS check, and proven fire door installation experience. Driving licence preferred; FIRAS and BM TRADA desirable for progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred).
• CSCS Card required.
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
• Proven experience installing fire doors.
• DBS or enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire doors in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Carry out remedial works to existing fire doors.
• Ensure all installations comply with current fire safety regulations.
• Complete fire door inspections where required.
• Record completed works accurately.
• Work closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Report defects and site issues promptly.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and remedial works of fire doors, ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.
