Contracts Manager - Fire Door Specialist

Reddbrick has a fantastic opportunity for a Passive Fire Door Contracts Manager to join a regional business that requires a Passive Fire Door Specialist overseeing fire door installation. The Contracts Manager will provide consistent high-quality support and assistance to the Operations Team and Site Teams in Leeds and the North.

Contracts Manager Duties:

  • Assist the Operations Director and manage Project Managers in delivering multiple projects across the North.
  • Liaise with clients, organize site operatives, oversee project programmes, health and safety, and quality control.

This is a demanding role requiring excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a busy environment, flexibility, assertiveness, and initiative. Experienced Project Managers and Senior Fire Door Specialists looking to progress into Contracts Management are encouraged to apply.

Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects up to £2m, including small works and larger projects.
  • Manage trades and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate project teams and liaise with clients during live sites.
  • Track and monitor client variations.
  • Review and follow construction program schedules.
  • Review drawings across disciplines.
  • Take responsibility for H&S on site, reviewing and implementing RAMS and Toolbox talks.

Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills and communication skills.
  • High IT proficiency (Word, Email, Excel, Microsoft Projects).
  • BM Trada or industry equivalent qualifications.
  • CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness Certificates (advantageous).
  • Experience liaising with clients and managing multiple sites is key.
