Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join a planned works team in social housing projects. The role involves installing fire doors, completing remedial works, and working within occupied properties.

You will use handheld devices and tickets to track progress while delivering high health and safety standards. The position offers Monday–Friday hours (39 per week), a company van with fuel card, tools provided, and a clear pathway for training and development.

Qualifications

• Carpentry/joinery qualification Level 2+ preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to complete a fire door installation skills test.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Install fire doors and complete remedial works.
• Work within occupied social housing properties.
• Complete jobs using handheld devices/job tickets.
• Work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Maintain high health & safety standards.
