Job Description
Fire Damper Engineer

Location: Reading (South travel)

Salary: Competitive in Industry. Trinity are hiring a Damper Engineer to install & maintain fire dampers and associated systems. You will be working on mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems. Working across the South of England, you’ll be working as part of a skilled team of Engineers and Senior Engineers to build on the company’s reputation in quality and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain fire dampers in line with Trinity’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure correct assembly, alignment, and secure installation of dampers within ductwork and ventilation systems.
  • Carry out inspections, routine maintenance, and adjustments to ensure dampers remain fully operational.
  • Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Accurately maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of HVAC systems, construction practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
