1x Temporary Full Time for 12 Months

Our Fire Control team handles almost 16,000 emergency 999 calls per year, ensuring that crews, officers, fire appliances and equipment are dispatched efficiently to where they are needed.

This is a vital role, communicating not only with the caller but also the crews attending and other emergency services and authorities who need to be there.

You will be provided with full training to enable you to carry out this role and there are great opportunities for career progression through our promotion processes.

ICT literacy is essential as is the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from different backgrounds.
