Fire Contracts Manager – Dartford - £60,000

We are seeking an experienced Fire / Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of contracts and reactive maintenance works valued at approximately £500k. The role is based out of our Kent office, managing projects mainly in Kidbrooke, Woolwich, and Greenwich, with occasional work across other parts of London.

This is a hands-on management role leading a team of 5 engineers, working alongside a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role involves liaising directly with clients, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining our standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage electrical and fire safety contracts and reactive works.
2. Manage 5 – 7 engineers across static and mobile sites in London and the southeast.
3. Assist with call-out rota alongside other managers.
4. Coordinate engineers for effective deployment across multiple sites.
5. Work with the QS to manage costs, variations, and project profitability.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing issues and opportunities.
8. Plan, forecast, and report on contract progress.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar contracts management role (preferably within Fire and/or Electrical).
• Strong knowledge of electrical and fire safety regulations.
• Excellent project and people management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
