Job summary

Purosearch is working with a growing consultancy to appoint an experienced Fire Consultant for their team in the North West. This role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

As a Fire Consultant, you will provide specialist fire safety advice, review proposals, produce fire strategies and reports, and support clients and design teams throughout the build process.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fire Consultant / Fire Engineer in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, legislation and relevant standards.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing fire safety consultancy and technical advice across projects.
• Reviewing architectural and construction proposals from a fire safety perspective.
• Producing and reviewing fire strategies, assessments and technical reports.

We're working with a growing and well-established consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Consultant to join their team in the North West.

The Role

As a Fire Consultant, you'll provide specialist fire safety advice across a range of construction and development projects, working closely with clients, design teams, contractors and other consultants.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process

About You

We're looking for someone with a solid background in fire consultancy within the construction industry, who is confident working independently and communicating with a range of project stakeholders.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as a Fire Consultant / Fire Engineer within the construction sector
• Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, legislation and relevant standards
• Experience working across a range of construction projects
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
• A professional and client-focused approach
• Relevant qualifications and professional membership are advantageous.
