Fire Compliance Sales Business Development Manager

Location: South East, London and Home Counties (including regions like Scotland, North East, Yorkshire, North/West England, Sussex, South Coast, South Wales)

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 DOE + Commission and Permanent Benefits

Car Allowance: £6,000 or Company Car

Commission: Yes - On Revenue and well rewarded (especially with Fire Safety sales experience)

Leads: 20% provided; focus on generating new clients (80%)

Industry: Must have Fire compliance sales experience with products/services like Fire Risk assessments, Passive Fire solutions, Fire Alarm systems, Fire service contracts, or extinguishers at an account level

Sales: Targeting £600,000 to £2 million of Fire sales in the UK

You can sell across various verticals such as hospitals, health, national accounts, shopping centers, leisure, retail, data centers, and more, leveraging your contacts to secure contracts for your Fire Protection company.

Company: A national Fire Protection and Detection company committed to building a passionate sales team. They aim to provide comprehensive fire compliance solutions, ensuring safety and peace of mind for clients. They seek local salespeople who can consult, listen, and become trusted Fire Compliance partners. If you've worked for another Fire Detection/Protection company but feel unsupported or unrewarded, this could be a fresh start for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling a range of fire safety products and maintenance contracts, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, passive fire protection, and full fire compliance packages like risk assessments.
  • Offering tailored Fire Protection solutions to meet client needs, focusing on both maintenance and new systems (technical knowledge not mandatory, but experience with FIA or BAFE companies is required).
  • Managing a targeted area with 20% leads provided, while actively seeking new business opportunities. This is a sales role, not account management—enjoy hunting and developing new clients as a Business Development Manager.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive sales, achieve targets, and expand the client base.
