Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fire Compliance Auditor to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to fire safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety across all operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive fire safety and compliance audits.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  3. Design and build effective fire safety management systems that enhance operational efficiency and employee well-being.
  4. Provide training and guidance to staff on fire safety practices, ensuring all employees, contractors, and management understand their responsibilities.
  5. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety, encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives.
  6. Stay updated on current legislation, best practices, and emerging trends in health and safety.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Fire Safety Auditor or Authorising Engineer.
  2. Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, risk management principles, and best practices.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting thorough assessments.
  5. Relevant qualifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory.
  6. Knowledge of HTM05.
  7. Registration with The Institution of Fire Safety Managers, Tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register (TFRAR), or The IFE Fire Risk Assessors Register.

This is a full-time opportunity covering London, South East, and South West regions. The role requires regular travel across these regions, and candidates must have their own vehicle.
