Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Belfast team as a Fire Commissioning Engineer. We are looking for someone to successfully undertake the commissioning of high-end addressable fire and associated fire safety systems across the United Kingdom.

What you will be doing

1. Commissioning modern bespoke Addressable Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Refuge Alarm Systems, and associated systems as scheduled by our Regional Installation Manager or Customer Support Centre throughout the UK.
2. Occasionally undertake service calls and out-of-hours call-outs as scheduled by our Customer Support Centre.
3. Perform small installation works as necessary.
4. Ensure commissioning works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard, meeting customer expectations.
5. Provide on-site training and demonstrations to consultants and end users.
6. Manage your personal vehicle and stock effectively.
7. Liaise with customers at the local/site level.

What we are looking for

• Experience with systems such as Gent by Honeywell Vigilon, Baldwin Boxall Refuge System, and Scope Paging Systems.
• Minimum GCSE/O Level or equivalent qualification.
• Industry-recognized qualifications.
• Current health & safety qualification (e.g., ECS/CSCS/CSR card or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in commissioning high-end bespoke addressable fire detection and alarm systems.
