Fire and Security Installation Engineer

We are seeking a full-time, experienced, multi-skilled Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join our growing team. If you have at least three years of experience, a passion for technology, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service, we want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on challenges. You should be comfortable working at height and have no health issues that may prevent you from doing so (e.g., back problems, dizziness, or long-term conditions). A full, clean driving license is essential, along with the ability to pass a DBS check for working in schools.

All candidates must be able to pass security screening and relevant Police Checks to ensure the highest level of trust and safety in our industry.

Location: Primarily London and Home Counties

Salary: £35k – £45k per annum (depending on experience and expertise)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Benefits:

5. Competitive overtime pay (time and a half Monday to Saturday, double time on Sundays and bank holidays)
6. Call out rota with standby payment (£25 per weekday, £50 per weekend/bank holiday)
7. Holiday allowance starting at 20 days per year, increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years (up to 25 days)
8. Immediate start preferred, though a one-month notice period is acceptable

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install a wide range of security and fire safety systems, including:
2. Intruder Alarms (Texecom)
3. Access Control (Paxton, PAC)
4. Door Entry Systems (BPT, Fermax)
5. Video Door Entry (BPT, Comelit)
6. CCTV Systems (Hik, DVR’s, NVR’s, Analogue, IP Cameras, Networks)
7. Fire Alarm Systems (Analogue, IP Network)
8. Ensure compliance with current British Standards
9. Work at height safely (IPAF certification required; training available)

Requirements:

1. Minimum of three years of experience in fire and security installation
2. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on challenges
3. Comfortable working at height with no health issues that may prevent this
4. Full, clean driving license
5. Ability to pass a DBS check for working in schools
6. Ability to pass security screening and relevant Police Checks
