We are seeking a dedicated Fire and Security Service, Maintenance, and Small Works Engineer to join a highly reputable and successful company specializing in fire and security industry. Fire and Security Engineer – Package Overview:

  • Competitive Salary Up to £36,000 Per Annum (negotiable based on experience and qualifications) with additional overtime pay
  • Company-provided vehicle with travel expenses covered
  • Monday to Friday working hours (40 hours per week)

Fire and Security Engineer Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting various tasks including installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning (where applicable) of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
  • Ensuring the overall quality of on-site work
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients and the administration team
  • Compliance with company obligations and adherence to professional guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers, providing support and training to junior team members
  • Participation in an on-call rotation
  • Coverage area includes Wolverhampton and surrounding regions
  • Work assignments may be tailored to individual engineer strengths, with full training provided as necessary for comprehensive involvement in all aspects of the business

Fire and Security Engineer Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Fire and Security Industry
  • Essential knowledge of servicing and remediation within the Fire and Security Industry
  • Experience across various disciplines including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms (preferred but not essential)
  • Problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Beneficial certifications include IPAF, ECS, and CSCS Cards
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential
  • Demonstrated drive and enthusiasm for seizing opportunities
