Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Fire and Security Area Engineer covering Central Scotland. The engineer will be responsible for day works, service and maintenance of fire and security systems. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting system issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting routine system inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.

The role requires an individual who works well in a high volume and fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable, good with customers and have a good attitude. Someone who can work well on their own and can be presentable and adaptable with the different types of clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified Fire and Security Engineer
• Must be prepared to cover all aspects of work including Installation, small works, service and maintenance and fault finding
• Carry out all work to defined quality standards as set out by industry regulations in a timely and efficient manner
• Liaise with Customers, Engineering department and Service desk
• Complete all necessary paperwork (paper and online) in line with required timescales
• The ability to cover a 24-hour call-out on a rota basis is essential to be considered for this position
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on-site
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
