Qualifications

  • Experience in maintaining and servicing fire alarms and emergency lights.
  • Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service fire alarms across multiple customer locations.
  • Carry out installations and provide fault finding diagnostics.

Skills

Fault finding diagnostics

FIA Units 1-5 or Equivalent

Role: Fire Alarm Technician

Location: Anglia - covering Stevenage, Luton, Norwich, Peterborough, & Cambridge

Salary: Up to £35,000

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION - COMPANY VAN PROVIDED - FULL CLEAN LICENSE ESSENTIAL

What's Involved?

  1. Maintaining & servicing fire alarms/emergency lights
  2. Working across a wide range of systems across multiple customer locations
  3. Carrying out fire alarm installations
  4. Fire alarm commissioning, mainly Advanced, Kentec systems
  5. Planning & implementing routine & demand call visits for your area
  6. Providing a good technical understanding of drawings & wiring systems
  7. Able to carry out fault finding diagnostics
  8. Running small to medium installations & providing guidance
  9. Demonstrating a full understanding of all related regulations
  10. BS7671-2018, BS5839-1:2017, BS5838-6:2019
  11. FIA Units 1-5 or Equivalent
  12. 18th Edition
