Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager with expertise in fire alarm systems and life safety, primarily serving clients in the West of South East and some national clients.

Role Overview:
  • General Fire Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of fire-related systems such as extinguishers, suppression, compartmentation, and FRAs. Focus is on Fire Alarms, but familiarity with related disciplines is beneficial.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop strong relationships and become the go-to adviser for fire safety.
  • Account Management: Experience managing large and key accounts such as hospitals, shopping centres, and large commercial clients.
  • Sales Skills: Ability to close sales, conduct surveys, and seize sales opportunities.
  • Organisation/Admin/IT Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and preparing reports using MS Excel and other tools.
  • Project Management: Understanding of project delivery processes.
  • Financial/Commercial Awareness: Understanding of profitability and commercial aspects of fire safety projects.
  • Technical/Fire Alarm Design: FIA qualification in design or relevant experience in fire detection design, including system design and project costing.
