Job summary

Our client, a Fire & Security service provider, seeks a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to cover the Redhill area. The role includes servicing emergency lighting, addressing both conventional and addressable systems, and maintaining extinguishers as part of a broader safety service.

Salary up to £45,000 per annum, with overtime and call-out benefits, company vehicle for personal use, and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Driving license and FIA training are advantageous though not essential.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of BS5839-1 fire alarm standards.
• Hands-on experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Background in social housing environments is advantageous.
• FIA training or qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain emergency lighting systems.
• Operate safely and professionally within domestic and social housing settings.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Maintain fire extinguishers as part of a wider fire safety service.
