Job summary

Secure and Recruit Ltd is recruiting an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer for Birmingham. You will service and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, diagnose faults, and perform remedial works in a range of sites.

You will work on a 1 in 5 to 7 week rota, with a company van for personal use, and a strong earnings package including overtime bonuses and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Ability to service emergency lighting and AOV systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience completing accurate service reports.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm systems.
• Testing Emergency Lighting systems.
• Working with AOV systems.
• Fault-finding and diagnosing issues.
• Carrying out remedial and corrective works.
• Completing service reports and documentation.
• Ensuring work complies with industry standards.
• Covering Birmingham and surrounding areas.
• On-call rota on a 1 in 5–7 week basis.
