Job Description:

This national fire detection systems installer and service provider is looking to recruit a service and maintenance engineer to be based within striking distance of either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Candidates will need to have good practical experience with the service and fault-find on a variety of fire alarm systems, PAVA, emergency lighting and nurse call systems, being able to work unsupervised. Reporting to the service manager the successful applicant will be the first point of contact with customers so excellent communication skills are a must. Applicants will need to have a good understanding of BS 5839 and ideally hold FIA certification or similar, a CSCS card is a requirement, as is a full driving license. This position comes with a basic salary of £36,000 plus car or van, call out, overtime, travel time and package with 25 days holiday. The successful applicant should earn (c) £45,000.
