About The Company & Role

This established business operates within the security systems industry, supporting a broad client base across both residential and commercial sectors. Their services span installation and ongoing maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and door entry systems. With continued growth in the Leicester region, they are now seeking an experienced Service/Maintenance Engineer to join their field-based team. The role focuses on maintaining system performance, attending reactive callouts, and ensuring equipment operates within regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • - Perform routine servicing, fault-finding, and repairs on a range of security and fire systems for both domestic and commercial customers.
  • - Maintain and repair intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and door entry systems
  • - Attend reactive callouts within service-level agreements
  • - Participate in an on-call rota: 1 week on 2 weeks off.
  • - Produce clear and accurate service reports and relay findings to clients and internal departments
  • - Operate within current industry compliance and health & safety guidelines

Skills & Experience

  • - Previous experience in a service or maintenance role within the security or fire safety sector necessary
  • - Competence in working with at least two of the following systems: CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire alarms necessary
  • - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities necessary
  • - Full UK driving licence necessary
  • - ECS Card, IPAF or FIA training desired but not essential

Hours Of Work

  • - Monday Friday
  • - 8:30am 5pm
  • - 40 hours per week
  • - Participation in an on-call rota is required: Approx 1 week on, 2 weeks off.
