Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, has an opportunity for a Project Engineer based at Manchester Airport.

The position of Project Engineer involves working on and assisting with the day-to-day project management of new Fire Detection and life safety systems within the airport environment. With sound industry knowledge and previous experience, you will ensure the efficient delivery and installation of challenging, fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage projects from enquiry to completion.
2. Plan and report on construction programmes.
3. Manage on-site installation works, liaising with subcontractors and clients.
4. Perform relevant H & S duties, e.g., safe starts, toolbox talks.
5. Coordinate with manufacturing, design, and other departments for timely delivery.
6. Identify and communicate potential issues effectively.
7. Ensure compliance with codes, practices, and specifications.
8. Complete Quality Assurance documentation and report snags to subcontractors.
9. Delegate tasks to team members.
10. Learn and undertake commercial responsibilities on projects.
11. Perform any other duties relevant to the role.
