Job summary

Hall & Kay is seeking an experienced Installation Operations Lead in Central London to oversee installation and commissioning engineers. You will plan projects, coordinate labour resources, and ensure timely delivery within budgets.

You will lead a high-performing team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and continuously improve installation processes while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering, PM, or fire alarm technology experience.
• Proven experience in fire alarm system installation and PM, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm technologies and installation practices.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of installation and commissioning engineers.
• Plan and coordinate installation projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee scheduling and allocation of labour resources for each project.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations for best fire alarm solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and address issues promptly.
• Provide technical support to the installation team.
• Manage inventory and procurement of installation materials.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports and budgets.
• Stay updated with industry trends to improve processes.
