Job summary

FS Recruitment Services client is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to service, fault-find and install conventional and addressable fire alarm systems within a 50 mile radius of Sheffield. The role requires working independently, liaising with clients on site and completing accurate reports.

The position offers a salary up to £45,000 (dependent on experience), a company van with personal use, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, ongoing training and pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing, fault finding and installing fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable).
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Excellent communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Qualifications such as FIA units or BAFE are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently and to a high standard.
• Installing new fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839.
