Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to service, maintain and support a range of fire and security systems across commercial clients. You’ll be supported by Service Coordinators and Technical Specialists to uphold high engineering standards and customer service.

The role offers regional coverage, an uncapped earning potential with enhanced overtime and bonuses, plus ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
• A strong technical understanding, with a focus on electrical safety.
• The ability to work independently, manage service responsibilities and maintain high engineering standards.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on fire and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions.
• Complete minor remedial works and small-scale installations.
• Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and company procedures.

You will service and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance, reliability and exceptional customer service. You'll be supported by dedicated Service Coordinators and Technical Specialists, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding engineering standards.

Fire Systems: Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec and other open-protocol systems.

CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon.

Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom.

Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher.

Key Responsibilities
