Job summary

Trinity Fire & Security Systems is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to deliver high-quality commissioning and technical support across a varied portfolio of commercial clients. You will commission a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance, reliability and exceptional customer service.

You’ll be supported by dedicated Coordinators and Technical Specialists, enabling you to focus on engineering excellence and outstanding service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience commissioning fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong technical understanding with a focus on electrical safety (ECA or equivalent desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.

• Carry out planned commissioning of fire and security systems.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions.
• Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Region: South Coast

On-Target Earnings: Up to £60,000 (inclusive of overtime, travel pay and bonuses)

Join Trinity Fire & Security is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality commissioning and technical support across a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

You will commission a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance, reliability and exceptional customer service. You'll be supported by dedicated Coordinators and Technical Specialists, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding engineering standards.

• Fire Systems: Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec and other open-protocol systems.
• CCTV: Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon.
• Intruder Alarms: Galaxy, Texecom.
• Access Control: Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher.

About You

We're looking for a technically capable and customer-focused engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

• Proven experience commissioning fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of relevant British Standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong technical understanding with a focus on electrical safety (ECA or equivalent desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
