Are you a skilled Fire & Security Engineer looking for a fresh challenge with a respected facilities services provider? We’re hiring on behalf of a major retail client, offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll be the go-to technical expert for a group of retail stores, handling first-response maintenance and servicing for a range of systems including:

* Fire alarms (BS5839 compliant)
* CCTV (IP & analogue)
* EAS (Sensormatic)
* Access control
* Public address systems
* Automatic pedestrian gates

Your day-to-day will include:

* Responding to service calls and carrying out repairs
* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Diagnosing faults and recommending solutions
* Ordering and fitting parts to minimise downtime
* Liaising with store managers and keeping them updated
* Completing reports and surveys
* Ensuring all tools and equipment are in top condition

Requirements:

* Electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
* Experience with fire systems, CCTV, and EAS
* PC literacy and strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and at heights
* IPAF and full UK driving licence
* Colour vision suitable for electrical work
* Flexibility for on-call duties
