Overview

Barrett Contract Services are recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer (Maintenance) on behalf of a respected Fire Alarm and Electrical Contractor working across Kings Cross and London.

This is a maintenance-focused role carrying out installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning of fire and security alarm systems across a range of commercial, residential, and public sites.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, and repair fire & security alarm systems.
  • Fault-find, test, and commission systems (addressable & conventional).
  • Routine inspections in line with BS5839 & manufacturers\' standards.
  • Install, connect, and programme panels, devices, sensors, and wiring.
  • Provide reports, certificates, and technical support to clients.
  • Attend callouts and travel across London sites.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (maintenance/service).
  • Knowledge of panels such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, Notifier.
  • Familiar with BS5839 regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • FIA training, emergency lighting knowledge, London project experience.
