Are you a skilled Fire & Security Engineer looking for a fresh challenge with a respected facilities services provider? We're hiring on behalf of a major retail client, offering a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and room to grow.



Key Responsibilities:

You'll be the go-to technical expert for a group of retail stores, handling first-response maintenance and servicing for a range of systems including:

  • Fire alarms (BS5839 compliant)
  • CCTV (IP & analogue)
  • EAS (Sensormatic)
  • Access control
  • Public address systems
  • Automatic pedestrian gates

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Responding to service calls and carrying out repairs
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Diagnosing faults and recommending solutions
  • Ordering and fitting parts to minimise downtime
  • Liaising with store managers and keeping them updated
  • Completing reports and surveys
  • Ensuring all tools and equipment are in top condition


Requirements:

  • Electrical qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
  • Experience with fire systems, CCTV, and EAS
  • PC literacy and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and at heights
  • IPAF and full UK driving licence
  • Colour vision suitable for electrical work
  • Flexibility for on-call duties
