Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd in Central London is seeking an experienced Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer to join our established fire and security team. This role offers autonomy to manage a site and take ownership of service delivery on life-safety systems.

You will carry out PPMs, diagnose faults, attend emergency callouts and maintain compliance documentation, while building strong client relationships and staying up to date with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Experience with Notifier, Kentec, and other manufacturers.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing.
• Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs on fire alarm systems.
• Attend emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, worksheets, and compliance documentation.
• Build strong relationships with the on-site client.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
• Attend training and stay up to date with industry standards and technology.
• Escalate critical issues and provide practical solutions when required.

Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Central London

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Fire Alarm Engineer to join a well-established fire and security business supporting site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys autonomy, problem solving, and taking ownership of a site while working with industry-leading fire detection and life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing.
• Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs on fire alarm systems.
• Attend emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records, worksheets, and compliance documentation.
• Build strong relationships with the on-site client.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance.
• Attend training and stay up to date with industry standards and technology.
• Escalate critical issues and provide practical solutions when required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of systems such as Notifier, Kentec, Advanced, Simplex, Voice Alarm, Gas Suppression and HSSD would be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
