Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fire or security engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
  • Understanding of British Standards (BS5839, BS5266).
  • Full UK driving license & DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

Location: UK-wide £38,000 - £42000

What You’ll Do
  • Install, service, and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms if you have experience like and CCTV systems (IP & analogue)
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on existing systems
  • Complete accurate reports and participate in an on‑call rota
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
  • Stay up to date with technology and legislation
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in either fire or security engineering experience or both would be fantastic
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV
  • Understanding of British Standards (BS5839, BS5266)
  • Full UK driving licence & DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Desirable: Qualifications such as FIA, City & Guilds, ECS / CSCS, and experience with Kentec, Eaton, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, NSI, or BAFE standards
