Location: Kent / South London

About the Role
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional with over 3 years of experience, ideally Gent trained, to handle servicing, fault-finding, and small works in Kent and South/South West London. While the primary focus is on fire detection servicing and reactive work, additional experience in security, access control, and CCTV systems is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service and fault-finding on conventional, addressable, and wireless fire alarm systems
* Work with major brands of panels such as Gent or Vesda and other app-based systems
* Handle security alarms, access control/door entry systems, and IP & analogue CCTV systems
* Dual Com monitoring and other communication devices
* Maintenance of emergency lighting
* Adherence to NSI codes of practice and current industry standards (EN50131 PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243)

About You:

* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service and Faults Engineer
* Excellent communication skills
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and good at time management
* Strong work record
* Full UK driving license

Working Hours:

* Standard hours: 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday – Friday
* On-call rotation: 1 in 6 weeks (additional paid overtime for on-call hours)
* The role involves working with ladders at height and can be physically demanding
* Flexibility to travel to various sites across the area
