Job description

As a fire alarm engineer, you ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a range of commercial and industrial premises. Working closely with our clients, you ll ensure all systems are fully operational and compliant with current fire safety regulations.,

  • Maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting primarily around Sussex
  • Conducting fault finding, repairs, and system upgrades
  • Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with clients
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and regulations
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation

    Proven experience as a fire alarm engineer
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm & emergency lighting systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., BS 5839 & BS5266)
  • Full UK driving licence (less than six points)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • FIA or BFC certification

    Competitive salary of GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 based on qualifications and experience plus bonus and overtime.
