Position Summary

As a Fintech Product Manager, you will be exposed to the international Flexibility and Fintech added-value services ecosystem within a fast-paced technology organisation. Your main responsibilities will be to manage/support new fintech products and solutions’ assessment and onboarding, conduct market research, and monitor industry trends related to flexibility offerings.

Additionally, you will engage with internal business leaders and external partners to project manage product onboarding, lead data-driven process improvements, and contribute to the department's pipeline and priorities. The ideal candidate must have a 360-degree understanding of both travel and fintech, demonstrating a problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on customer experience while staying up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Be the relevant market expert with respect to flexibility and fintech products, including regulatory implications and best practices.
  • Perform fintech products/solutions’ evaluation processes, including new providers and expected impact, by formulating business cases under a data-driven and multifaceted approach, considering economics, customer experience, performance, and strategic focus.
  • Monitor and assess competition at the partner, market, and product level and evaluate the company’s competitiveness from an offering perspective.
  • Define the business requirements for the implementation of new products, providing clear guidelines to involved cross-functional teams, including development.
  • Project manage flexibility and fintech product onboarding, ensuring business alignment across functions and coordinating internal and external partners for a seamless transition.
  • Maintain top responsibility for operational and financial performance, defining financial objectives and KPIs while ensuring the necessary analytics are implemented and dashboards reflect relevant insights.
  • Manage communications with existing partners on operational and product aspects, attend QBRs to stay up to date with new opportunities, and drive action plans.
  • Support RFPs for new partners, ensuring a well-structured approach to assess new partner capabilities and their alignment with Etraveli Group’s needs and tech ecosystem.
  • Work closely with data analysts to assess the performance of fintech solutions and partners, identifying and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up to date with market trends in the fintech and travel-tech industry, identifying new opportunities and proposing innovative solutions with high impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a commercial/business development role within a fast-paced, growth-oriented digital company, preferably in travel or airline ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of delivering or scaling products, with strong knowledge of airline booking flows, fare structures (GDS/NDC), and ancillary services.
  • Experience with flexibility-related products (, ticket changes, fare holds, cancellations) is a strong plus.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build business cases, interpret large datasets, and make data-driven decisions – essential.
  • Ability to independently navigate through complexities and provide clarity to a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve commitment towards results.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; capable of managing multiple projects independently and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English; able to navigate complexity and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively, take ownership, and pay close attention to detail.
