Job summary

Houlihan Lokey in London seeks an Associate for Corporate Finance in FinTech M&A to support transactions, build complex financial models and conduct due diligence. You will help prepare memoranda, presentations and client pitches while valuing businesses and coordinating with clients and professionals.

The role requires 3-4 years of M&A advisory experience, a strong valuation background, and excellent English communication. FinTech/FIG exposure is a plus in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of investment banking experience within M&A advisory.
• Experience/knowledge in the FIG/FinTech sector is favourable.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; strong Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence.
• Create financial models.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations and marketing pitches.
• Value companies and businesses.
• Lead marketing engagements and coordinate client contact.
• Supervise junior staff in financial analyses.
