Job summary

Finova is seeking an Implementation Manager in Manchester, operating on a hybrid model with three days in the office. You will own end-to-end release planning and readiness, coordinating between Business Consulting, Test and Engineering teams to ensure smooth BAU releases and timely client go-lives.

You will guide go/no-go decisions, manage environment readiness and defect triage, and act as the primary liaison to Client Delivery Managers, delivering reliable, compliant delivery in a regulated

Qualifications

• Proven track record in implementing end-to-end software releases in complex environments.
• Deep domain knowledge in financial services or regulated software.
• Experience setting release criteria, readiness assessments and go/no-go decisions.
• Ability to drive alignment across multiple technical workstreams without direct authority.
• Strong communication with clients during critical phases (UAT, rehearsals, live cutovers).
• Familiarity with automated deployment, regression testing, and modern delivery practices.
• Industry certifications in delivery or project management (PRINCE2, AP M) or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimise the BAU release pipeline and master slot allocations.
• Enforce entry/exit criteria, evaluate readiness, manage defect triage and decision making.
• Partner with Client Delivery Managers to coordinate release timing across accounts.
• Align deliverables across Business Consulting, Test and Engineering workstreams.
• Lead live deployment activities including UAT support and cutovers, sometimes on-site.
• Champion deployment automation and standardized release frameworks to reduce overhead.
