Job summary

Doit is seeking backend engineers to build the core APIs and services behind BJAK's AI Neobank app. The role focuses on onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers and risk workflows across markets. You will design reliable, scalable systems and integrate with payment providers and AI services.

The role requires strong attention to security, data quality and operational reliability. This is a hybrid UK role with collaboration across product, frontend, mobile and AI teams.

• Must have real technology career highlights, building, shipping or scaling a serious product/platform/system.
• Experience delivering services used by real customers or internal operations at meaningful scale.
• Strong focus on security, reliability and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services and APIs for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX, KYC and risk flows.
• Design reliable systems that support real customer transactions and operational workflows.
• Integrate with internal systems, financial partners, payment providers, AI services and third-party platforms.
• Own backend quality across reliability, security, latency, observability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, mobile and AI teams to launch features quickly and safely.
• Improve existing systems by simplifying flows and automating repeatable processes.
